The Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced that voting to elect the party's new leadership will take place tomorrow, Wednesday. The electoral process is set to begin immediately following the conclusion of today's closed session.

The closed-door session kicked off at 2:00 PM today at the Industrial Exhibition Centre in Bharatpur. According to a revised schedule released by the party, the session is expected to wrap up by 6:45 PM this evening.

In a push toward modernizing the electoral system, the RSP has made extensive preparations to adopt electronic voting (e-voting) for the election. A total of 80 electronic voting machines will be deployed at the venue to elect a new president and 99 central committee members. Furthermore, the party has integrated remote voting capabilities into its official mobile application, allowing party representatives stationed overseas to cast their ballots digitally.

In a bid to maintain strict internal code, the CEC has also enforced a specific eligibility rule for the election: any individual who acts as a proposer or a supporter for any candidate will be disqualified from contesting as a candidate themselves in this election cycle.
