Volkswagen Launches Virtus & Taigun GT Plus in Nepal with German Precision

Volkswagen Nepal officially launched two premium vehicles, the Volkswagen Virtus and Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus 1.5 TSI, at the NAIMA Auto Show 2025 in Kathmandu. These models, powered by the 1.5L TSI EVO engine with 150 PS, mark a new era in German performance and safety on Nepali roads.

Featuring 5-star Global NCAP ratings, advanced safety features, and stylish, terrain-ready designs, both vehicles cater to performance-focused and safety-conscious drivers. Built on the MQB A0 IN platform and tailored for South Asian conditions, they offer lower maintenance costs and high fuel efficiency. The launch was graced by German envoy Mr. Udo Volz and Volkswagen Nepal CEO Bibek Bijukchhe. Bookings are now open nationwide via Pooja International Nepal, the authorized distributor under Vishal Group.
