Vijay Laghubitta to acquire CWEDA Laghubitta: MoU signed in Ashadh 26

Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) and CWEDA Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CWEDA) signed a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of acquisition of CWEDA by VLBS.

VLBS is listed on NEPSE whereas CWEDA is non-listed microfinance. Currently, paid-up capital of VLBS stands at Rs 19.5 Crore. It has made profit of Rs 3.7 Crore in third quarter of fiscal year 2075/76. 

VLBS is national level micro finance institution and CWEDA is regional level micro-finance covering 10 districts.
