Upakar Laghubitta (ULBSL) Announces Massive 65% Dividend for FY 2078/79

Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) has proposed a 65% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79.

The meeting of the board of directors held on Magh 13 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 6.56 crores. 61.75% bonus shares and 3.25% cash dividend (tax purposes) have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are a little over Rs. 4.05 crores and the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 21.32 lakhs.

This is the first-ever dividend proposed by the company.

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. ULBSL closed at Rs. 3,734 last Thursday.
