Unnati Sahakarya reported massive increment in Net Profit in Q4; Here's why

Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (USLB) has published its fourth-quarter report of FY 2077/2078 with an increase in Net Profit by 192.88%. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 9.49 crores as compared to Rs. 3.54 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The massive increment in Net Profit in this quarter compared to the corresponding quarter is because the company had no provision for losses which inflated the profit.
The borrowings of the company increased to Rs. 2.20 Arba which was Rs. 1.73 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s loans and advances increased to Rs. 2.96 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 39.38% to Rs. 24.56 crores compared to Rs. 17.62 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood to Rs. 17.61 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 12.39 crores which is an increase of 137.65%.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 53.92. The net worth per share increased to Rs. 170.38. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 41.62 times.
