Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta (USLB) Revises Dividend for FY 2077/78

Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) has amended its dividend proposal.

The company had previously proposed a 32% dividend for the FY 2077/78. As per the notice published in NEPSE, the microfinance company had proposed the entirety of the dividend in bonus shares. Since the dividend is distributed on the paid-up capital of Rs. 17,61,69,706.38, the bonus shares were worth a little over Rs. 5.63 crores.

However, the decision taken by the 173rd BOD meeting of the microfinance company was subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank. The central bank then ordered the company to revise its dividend proposal. Thus, the company has now revised its proposal to only distribute 30% bonus shares on the paid-up capital of Rs. 17,61,69,706.38.

USLB closed at Rs. 2,270 last week.
