Organized by Aloi in collaboration with Fintech Alliance Nepal (FAN), Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA), and United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the event featured insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and strategic collaborations focusing on harnessing financial technology (Fintech) to empower MSMEs and drive economic growth.
Highlights included opening remarks by Saroj Nepal from UNCDF, presentations by Tiffany Tong, CEO of Aloi Global, showcasing global trends in lending and climate finance impact, and inspiring success stories from MSME representatives.
The panel discussion, moderated by Sanjib Subba from FAN, explored strategies for leveraging Fintech to enhance MSME financing. Closing remarks by Laxmi Prasad Prasai from Nepal Rastra Bank and Kapil Gautam representing NBA reaffirmed stakeholders' commitment to fostering an inclusive financial ecosystem for MSMEs in Nepal.
