United Insurance to convene Special General Meeting to endorse 240% right shares; paid up capital to stand at Rs.1.02 Arba after adjustment of rights

United Insurance Company (UIC) will be convening its Special General Meeting (SGM) on 16^th Falgun, 2075 (28^th February, 2019) at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal from 10 AM onwards.

The agenda of this meeting is to endorse 240% right shares proposed by the BOD. The 323^rd BOD proposed to issue 1:2.4 right shares to the shareholders of the company.

The current paid up capital of the company of Rs.30.24 Crore will increase to Rs.1.02 Arba after the adjustment of the proposed right.

For this purpose, the books of the company will remain closed from 7^th Falgun to 8^th Falgun, 2075. Investors holding shares of UIC till 6^th Falgun will be eligible to attend the SGM of the company.
