United Insurance Company Nepal (UIC) calls AGM on Magh 07; What are the agendas?

United Insurance Company Nepal Limited (UIC) has called its 26th AGM on Magh 07, 2077, i.e. January 20, 2021.

The meeting will be held in Hotel Himalaya, Kupondole, Lalitpur, starting at 10:30 am that day. The meeting will be streamed virtually for investors.

These are the agendas of the AGM:

1) Endorse the annual report of the fiscal year 2075/76.
2) Endorse financial metrics, cash flow, PNL statement, etc.
3) Appointment of auditor for FY 2076/76 and approval of compensation.
4) Authorize the BOD to revise the company's promoter: public shareholding ratio.

The board of directors has decided to not distribute any dividend to the company's shareholders for the fiscal year 2075/76. The company did not distribute any dividend for the FY 2073/74 and FY 2074/75 either. It had distributed a 10% bonus shares for the FY 2072/73. 

The book closure date is announced on Poush 21. Thus, investors maintained till that day are eligible to participate in the AGM.
