Union Hydropower report profit of Rs 1.74 crore in Q4; still retain loss stands at Rs 7.71 crore

Union Hydropower Company Limited (UNHPL) has published the unaudited fourth-quarter report for FY 2076/2077 today. As per the report, the net profit of the company has improved to Rs. 1.74 crores from Rs. 1.70 crores loss in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company’s paid-up capital remains at Rs. 75 Crores. Similarly, the company showed a negative Rs. 7.71 crores in Reserve fund.
The company’s loans, advances, and deposits increased by 7.19% and stood at Rs. 4.97 crores till Q4, 2076/2077.
The revenue from the sale of electricity has slightly increased by 6.41%. The revenue stood at Rs. 7.64 crores in the fourth quarter of FY 2076/2077. The company had to halt the process of electricity generation for 10 days 14 hours from late Shrawan from damauli bhorletar line because of heavy rainfall leading to landslide in the area.
The operating profit of the company slightly rose by 2.49% to Rs. 6.38 crores in Q4, 2076/2077. The company sits at a fair liquidity position with a current ratio of 4.05X.
The company’s EPS stands at Rs. 2.32 and net worth per share at Rs. 89.71. The Qtr End P/E ratio of the company stands at 21.95 times for the end of the fourth quarter.
