Unilever Nepal reports fall in net profits by 25.94% for the second quarter; EPS falls to Rs.971 with net worth per share at Rs.2280

Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) has published the unaudited second quarter report for the FY 2076/77.

The manufacturing company’s reserves (retained earnings) of the company grew by 10.42% from Rs.1.81 Arba to Rs.2 Arba by the end of the second quarter. The paid up capital of the company stood Rs 9.21 crore.

The net revenue from operation increased by 26.37% and currently stand at Rs.1.56 Arba, up from Rs.1.24 Arba posted on the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The other income decreased by 72.86%, currently stands at Rs.3.97 Crore.

The total expenses of the company stand at Rs.1.32 Arba which has increased by 32.30%.

The net profits for the company fell by 25.94% to Rs.23.75 Crore, which was Rs.32.07 Crore for the corresponding period of last fiscal year.

The annualized EPS stands at Rs.971, which was Rs.1303 for the corresponding Q2 of FY 2075/76. Similarly, the net worth per share stands at Rs.2280 with PE ratio of 19.62 times.
