Unilever Nepal reports 26% fall in net profit in Q1 2076/77; Annualized EPS at Rs 1,061

Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) has published the unaudited first-quarter report for the FY 2076/77.

The manufacturing company’s reserves (retained earnings) of the company grew by 15.74% from Rs 2.14 arba to Rs 2.47 Arba by the end of the first quarter.

The net revenue from operation increased by 14.65% and currently stand at Rs 1.73 arba, up from Rs 1.51 arba posted on the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The other income decreased by 84.81%, currently stands at Rs 2.66 crore.

The total expenses of the company stand at Rs 4.89 arba which has increased by 21.70%.

The net profits for the company fell by 26.37% to Rs 24.63 crore, which was Rs 33.45 crore for the corresponding period of last fiscal year.

The annualized EPS stands at Rs 1061, which was Rs 1121 for the corresponding Q1 of FY 2075/76. Similarly, the net worth per share stands at Rs 2,792 with PE ratio of 19 times.
