Unilever Nepal postpones its AGM; new AGM date set for Ashwin 18

Unilever Nepal Limited has postponed its 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) which was to be held on Aswin 14, 2072 (1 October, 2015).
The new date for the AGM has been set for Ashwin 18, 2072. The AGM will be held at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.
The company has already announced 990 percent cash dividend from the profit it earned in the last fiscal year.
The board of directors (BoD) meeting of Unilever held last month had recommended 990 percent cash dividend to its shareholders and the AGM is likely to endorse it.
The shareholders owning shares till Bhadra 26 will only be entitled to the dividend of the company.
The Company’s net profit has risen to Rs 1.03 Aruba in fourth quarter, up from 90.95 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.
UNL had distributed Rs 860 per share from the net profit earned in the fiscal year 2070/71, Rs 760 per share from the net profit earned in the fiscal year 2069/70 and Rs 680 per share from the net profit earned in the fiscal year 2068/69 to its shareholders.
