In the market of Nepal, smartphone prices are typically higher compared to India, but there are exceptions. The recent launch of the HONOR X9b exemplifies this trend. The phone was introduced in Nepal on January 21st, a month before its launch in India.

Despite being released earlier in Nepal, the price for the (12+256)GB variant was Rs. 43,999, while in India, the (8+256)GB variant launched on February 15th for INR 25,999, equivalent to around Rs. 41,600 in Nepalese currency. Notably, Nepalese consumers have the advantage of three color options compared to India's two. This pricing difference may encourage more people to purchase smartphones locally, marking a positive shift in the industry.
