Two Companies in SEBON Pipeline to Issue IPO; Which Companies are Those?

Kantipur Television Network Limited has approached The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) seeking approval for an initial public offering (IPO) issue. The company has requested permission to issue 750,000 primary shares, valued at Rs. 7.5 crores.
In addition, Sanima Hydropower Limited has also applied for a public issuance. Kantipur Television submitted its application to the board on Jestha 28th, while Sanima Hydropower applied on Jestha 26th.
Sanima Hydropower plans to issue 2,450,000 unit shares, worth Rs. 24,50,00,000. Both companies have appointed Sanima Capital as the issuance manager for their respective IPOs.
Kantipur Television Network Ltd. is the most popular television station in the private sector in Nepal. The network company has been continuously providing information through its technology.
Kantipur Television, the first privately owned television channel in Nepal, was founded in July 2003 and provides a wide range of material via satellites and terrestrial transmitters.
Kantipur Television swiftly rose to prominence as one of Nepal's top and most watched TV channels after debuting with a seven-hour regional broadcast for the Kathmandu Valley.
Kantipur is the 2nd media company ever to issue an IPO. Just yesterday, Republic Media has closed its IPO issue.
