Transaction of cooperatives up

BARDIYA, JUNE 3: 

The financial transaction of cooperatives in Bardiya district has gone up this year compared to the previous years, according to the Division Cooperative Office, Bardiya.

The Office has recorded the transaction of Rs 1.5 billion till mid-April in the current fiscal year, said Rajesh Acharya, Officiating Chief of the Office.

Acharya also said around Rs 60 million shares capital were collected during the same period. Around 350 cooperatives have been registered in Bardiaya district and they have over 55,000 members.

Pragati Saving and Cooperatives Limited is the highest benefit maker in the district, this year, he said.
