Top five in three categories of ICT Award 2023 announced, the best will be selected through public voting and field visits

The best five in three different categories have been announced for this year under the ICT Award program which is the most prestigious and popular in the technology sector. Based on the selection of 14 jury members, the best five in Startup ICT Award 2023, Product ICT Award 2023 and Rising Star Innovation ICT Award 2023 categories were announced today.

Among the top five startups are Bhojmandu Food Pvt. Ltd., Diyo A.I Technology Pvt. Ltd., GG Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (Happy Minds), Rasan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Yarsa Tech Pvt. Ltd. Similarly, the best five products under the Product ICT Award are Digi Buzz, Fast Banking, Money Mitra, QuickRPA and Yatri P1. Blanxer, Dreshion, Drishya, Intern Sathi and Prasta Nepali are among the top five successful innovations under the Rising Star Innovation category.

More than 200 nominations were received in these three categories of ICT Award 2023. The best 12 startups, 13 rising stars and 14 products participated in the startup and idea fest held in Kathmandu on Ashoj 19 and 20 and exhibited their products and startups. Likewise, they also participated in the presentation and speed dating under the grand jury session held on Ashoj 27. According to the organizers, a special television show will be broadcast on Kantipur Television about their presentation, idea and startup.

The best five selected in three different categories will participate in the public voting that will be conducted after some time, while the jury committee will also visit the office in categories such as start-ups. Razan Lamsal: Chairman of the organizing committee said that the winner will be specially honored at the grand finale program to be held on the 6th of Poush.

Similarly, the selection process for other individual and institutional award categories under the ICT Award 2023 is also ongoing. The second stage selection process is underway for the categories including Professional Excellence, Pioneer, Entrepreneur, Woman Icon and Nepali Diaspora ICT Award. Similarly, the first stage selection process is being conducted in the categories including Digital Education, Digital Governance and Digital Services category.

The organizer has informed us that the nomination period for the South Asia Startup Award category has ended, and the screening is underway. More than 60 nominations have been received from 6 different countries for the South Asia Startup Award. There are jury members from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka for the best selection in this category.

Living with ICT has been organizing the ICT Award program since 2016 A.D. This year, the 8th edition of the ICT Award received more than 550 online nominations in 13 categories. For the selection, there are 14 expert jury members and 13 expert advisory committees.

A television show will also be conducted along with 25+ jury meetings for the selection process and 10+ pre-event campaigns for the promotion. In this award program; the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology; Nepal Government, Information Technology Department, Nepal Telecommunication Authority, NAST, FNCCI, NAS- IT and other organizations have collaborated.
