Today's Market Summary: Bulls Ride the Finance Sector While Index Gains 10.13 Points for the Day; NEPSE Less than 100 Points from Historic High

The NEPSE index gained 10.13 points today and closed at 2,684.01. The index opened at 2,701.82 which is also the intraday high. The index went as low as 2,679.18 before ultimately closing at 2,684.01.
21,955,943 shares traded hands via 86,296 transactions. The trading of 218 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.12 Arba. While the float index gained meager 0.87 points and closed at 184.02, the Sensitive index is at 479.50 after gaining 1.12 points.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 49.04 crores.
Twelve scrips have closed at the upper limit of 10% gain (technically) today.
On the other side of things, Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) lost the most 2.09%.
Four sectors lost while all other sectors closed green today. While Finance gained the most 4.68%, Trading and "Hotels/ Tourism" both lost the higher 0.6%, which is still a minimal loss.
