Today's Market Summary: Another Day, Another All-Time High; Index Closes at 2,759.21

The NEPSE index gained 20.71 points today and closed at the all-time high of 2,759.21. The previous highest closing was at 2,738.29 created just yesterday.

The index opened at 2,748.83 and made the intraday high at 2,770.86. 19,056,236 shares traded hands via 101,918 transactions. The trading of 218 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 9.57 Arba.

While the float index gained 1.24 points and closed at 189.26, the Sensitive index is at 492.58 after gaining 4.45 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 66.01 crores.

10 scrips have closed at the upper limit of 10% gain (technically) today.

On the other side of things, 10.25% NBBL Debenture 2085 (NBBD2085) lost the most 1.94%. There are no significant losers today.

Three sectors lost and all others closed green. While the sector Manufacturing lost the most 0.72%, the sector "Others" gained the most 2.63%.
