TDB in Dhangadi

KATHMANDU, OCT 19: 

Tourism Development Bank (TDB) opened its 13th branch in Dhangadi, Kailali district on Wednesday. It was inaugurated by chairman of the bank Dr Puspa Raj Kadel. The development bank was able to collect deposits worth Rs 2.16 billion and float loans worth Rs 1.98 billion in the last fiscal year. It has also proposed to distribute cash dividend from the net profit earned during the period. The proposed dividend will be at the rate of 10 per cent of the paid up capital. TDB had posted an operating profit of Rs 50.85 million in the last fiscal.
