Tanka Prasad Pandey Appointed Chairman of Agricultural Development Bank

Tanka Prasad Pandey has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at Agricultural Development Bank Limited. The decision was made during a recent meeting of the bank's board. Pandey brings approximately 25 years of experience working in the civil service, having served in various government and institutional bodies with a primary focus on the economic sector.

Following his appointment, Chairman Pandey took the official oath of office and secrecy from the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Bishwanath Poudel, at the central bank's headquarters in Baluwatar. The ceremony was attended by high ranking central bank officials, including Deputy Governor Kiran Pandit, alongside the Agricultural Development Bank's Chief Executive Officer, Govinda Gurung.

The bank has expressed optimism about its future leadership, stating that under Pandey's guidance, efforts will be directed toward strengthening the institution. Key priorities moving forward will include improving the quality of customer services and expanding financial support and accessibility across the country's agricultural sector.
