Swiss Business Delegation Engages With Nepali Stakeholders In Fact-Finding Mission

The Embassy of Switzerland, in partnership with Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) and the Nepal Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NSCCI), organized the Second Fact-Finding Mission with a Swiss business delegation visiting Nepal from March 17th to 20th, 2024.

The mission aimed to familiarize Swiss companies with the Nepali market and its stakeholders, with notable organizations like Ferring, Roche, Stone Step, and Swiss Re participating.

The delegation held high-level meetings with key entities including the Ministry of Health, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and various public and private sector offices.

The Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, H.E. Dr Danielle Meuwly, highlighted the success of the previous mission and expressed optimism for similar outcomes, emphasizing Nepal's transition from aid to trade.

The discussions enriched the Swiss delegation's understanding of Nepal's business sector and identified potential investment opportunities.
