Swarojgar Laghubitta (SLBBL) & Samata Gharelu Laghubitta (SMATA) Signs Initial MoU for Merger; Share Trading of Basic Shareholders Halted

The signing of the initial memorandum of understanding (MOU) dated Poush 18 at 4:45 pm for the purpose of merger/amalgamation has been completed between Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBBL) and Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA).

Likewise, the arrangements for the stock transactions of the basic shareholders has been halted of both companies as per the provisions of relevant sections. Also, as per the notice, there are a total of 8 basic shareholders in Swarojgar Laghubitta, whereas the same of Samata Gharelu Laghubitta is 22.

The share capital of SLBBL and SMATA as of the first quarter report of Fiscal Year 2079/80 is Rs. 51.40 Crores and Rs. 34.27 Crores, respectively. Also, the Last Trading Price (LTP) of the the companies as of January 2 is Rs. 875 and Rs. 810, respectively. 

The swap ratios and other relevant information regarding the merger has not been finalized yet.
