Sushil Bhatta appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board of Nepal

The Government has appointed Sushil Bhatta as the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Board of Nepal.

A member of the National Planning Commission, Bhatta was appointed to the IBN by the meeting of the Council of Ministers today. The post remained vacant after then CEO Maha Prasad Adhikari was appointed the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, according to a member of the cabinet. Bhatta was appointed as the CEO of the Board for a term of four years.

A committee formed under the leadership of Finance Minister Dr. Yubraj Khaitwada had presented the names of Bhatta, Ram Krishna Khatiwada, and Dr. Saroj Koirala for the post of CEO of IB Nepal.

The IB Nepal is coordinating megaprojects with foreign investment in the country.
