Supreme Court rescues Mr Chandra Singh Saud; returns as the GM of NEPSE

Supreme Court has passed its verdict in the favor of Mr Chandra Singh Saud and has directed the government to reappoint him in his previous position. Mr Saud had reached the Supreme Court stating that the revocation of his appointment was illegal and he should be re-appointed in the same position.

He had reached the Supreme Court and appealed for his re-appointment on Wednesday. After today’s decision, he will be re- appointed in his previous position as the General Manager of NEPSE. However, the final verdict of the court is yet to come.

For the time being, he will be continuing his regular office work. His appointment along with the appointment of more than a dozen others were revoked by the decision of the cabinet.
