Sunrise Capital SUCCESSFULLY completes its Capital Market Literacy and Investors’ Awareness Program ACROSS NEPAL
Sunrise Capital Ltd., in collaboration with Beta Analytics Pvt. Ltd., took a commendable step towards improving capital market literacy and empowering the younger generation. Series of investment awareness and training sessions were conducted in various colleges across Nepalgunj, Lumbini Pradesh (Province 5), Surkhet, Karnali Pradesh (Province 6), and Dhangadi, Sudur Pashchim Pradesh (Province 7). This initiative was part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, dedicated to enhancing capital market literacy and nurturing practical investing knowledge from the grassroots level.
In Dhangadi, the Capital Market Awareness program was conducted for two days at Sudur Pashchimanchal Academy (SPA college) on Bhadra 24 and Aishwarya Multiple Campus on Bhadra 25, benefiting over 300 participating graduates. These sessions provided invaluable insights into capital markets, equipping them with a solid foundation in investment strategies, market analysis, and financial planning.

On Bhadra 26, Sunrise Capital's Capital Market Investment Awareness Program took center stage in Nepalgunj, Province 5, empowering IT and engineering graduates of Banke Bageshwori Campus. The program was tailored for non-business, but technical graduates, bridging the gap between their technical expertise and financial know-how. It was organized in coordination with leading IT and technical stream-based colleges.
In Surkhet, Karnali Province 6, the program was held on Bhadra 27 in a pioneering academic institution, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from the student community. Participants expressed eagerness to apply their newly found knowledge in their financial pursuits, igniting a spirit of financial independence. The program also served as an inspiring representation of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, led by Mrs. Sushma Giri, Branch Manager of Surkhet Branch.
The sessions were led by Mr. Binod Ale, Head of Investment Banking at Sunrise Capital, focusing on key areas including investment in primary and secondary markets, investment strategies, risk management, DEMAT, portfolio management, Mutual funds, merchant banking, brokerage functions, research and advisory, and Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) investment with ethical and regulatory considerations in the realm of capital market investment. Mr. Bijaya Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Capital Ltd specifies the future plans of the company to continue and expand this kind of initiatives in the Eastern Provinces of Nepal, the programs in 3 provinces Lumbini Pradesh (Province 5), Karnali Pradesh (Province 6), and Sudur Pashchim Pradesh (Province 7) were officially concluded on Bhadra 27.
