Sunrise Bank supports policy to building nationwide banking access; launches Sunrise Sambriddhi saving account with Rs 100 as opening balance in line with government policies

Following the instructions of the central bank and the campaign of the federal government to bring all the citizens of Nepal under banking access in the new year, Sunrise Bank is offering “Sunrise Sambriddhi” saving account from Baisakh 1, 2076. As per the decision of the government, the bank will provide Rs 100 as the opening balance for all the eligible bank account holders under this scheme. Likewise, the bank will also provide health and medical insurance as well as other facilities to the account holders, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 104 branches, 28 branchless banking units, 4 extension counters and 119 ATM outlets and provides services to more than 5 lakh customers all around the nation.
