Sunrise Bank (SRBL) announces AGM; When's the book closure for the dividend?

Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) has called its 13th AGM on Poush 24, i.e. January 08.

The 361st meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 25 has decided to stream the AGM virtually. Nonetheless, the AGM will be hosted from Amrapali Banquet, Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

Among other proposals, the AGM will endorse the dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The board of directors held has decided to distribute an 8.28% dividend from the distributable profit of the fiscal year 2076/77. 5.8% will be distributed as bonus shares and 2.48% in the cash dividend. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 52,01,33,063.29 and the cash dividend totals Rs. 22,24,01,723.62.

Furthermore, the bonus shares adjustment will take the company's paid-up capital to Rs. 9,48,79,44,499.39. The company's existing paid-up capital is Rs. 8,96,78,11,436.10. Thus, the 13th AGM will also endorse capital adjustment.

The book closure is declared on Poush 07. Thus, investors maintained before that date are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.
