Sunrise Bank launches senior citizens account

Sunrise Bank Limited has launched Sunrise Senior Citizen Savings Account for the customers who are 50 years and above. The account can be opened with a minimum balance of Rs 2500 which would accrue a minimum interest of 6 percent per annum. The interest amount would be deposited (Credited) on a monthly basis.

The senior citizen account holders can avail discounts at various businesses and service providers, entertainment and tourism destinations and in the purchase of newspapers and magazines. The account holders can also benefit from discounts on loan processing, international Visa debit card, travelers check and locker facility.

The bank has a deposit of 21 arba 58 crore rupees and loans of 17 arba 90 crore rupees. It has more than 2 lakhs clients. The bank has 22 branches in the Valley and 27 branches outside the Valley.
