Sunrise Bank Gets "A-" Issuer Rating Fourth Time in Row Denoting Adequate Safety and Low Credit Risk

Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) has been assigned the issuer rating of "A-" by CARE Ratings Nepal Limited. The company has been assigned the same rating for the fourth consecutive year now.
The rating agency undertakes a rating exercise based on information provided by the company, in-house databases, and data from other sources that it considers reliable.
"AAA" is the best issuer rating the agency could provide, and "D" is the poorest. The issuer rating "A-" given to Sunrise Bank falls in the third position, starting from the best. Issuers with this rating are considered to offer an adequate degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, in Nepal. Such issuers carry low credit risk. The symbol minus "-" denotes the bank's comparative standing within the category "A".
Sunrise Bank commented that it is still committed to further strengthening its indicators in the days to come.
