Sunrise Bank concludes financial closure agreement to fund Lantang Khola Hydropower Project in Rasuwa; leads consortium of 3 banks to extend credit of Rs 3 arba

A consortium of three commercial banks led by Sunrise Bank and joined by Siddhartha Bank and NCC Bank has signed a Facilities Agreement with Multi Energy Development Ltd. On Aswin 11, 2078 to finance the run of the river Langtang Khola Hydropower Project to be constructed at Rasuwa District.

The banks have committed to financing 70% of the project cost i.e nearly NPR 3 arba with the remaining 30% invested through equity and the construction work is expected to complete within 30 months of its initiation, as per the media statement.
