Sunrise Bank begins verified by Visa service; adds one more layer of security and reliability to online payments for its card users

Sunrise Bank with an aim to provide more reliable and secure electronic payment facility to its customers has brought into operation Verified by Visa (VBV) service following a collaboration with international card service provider VISA.

Following the agreement, customers who use bank’s Visa Debit / Credit cards for online payment and e-commerce will receive  One Time Password (OTP) in the registered mobile number and email id which will have to be used to verify each and every such online transactions. Customers willing to get started with the VBV service of the bank can avail the service from all its branches free of cost, reads the statement issued by the bank.

The commercial bank is currently providing banking services through 88 branches, 22 branchless banking locations, 3 extension counters, 99 ATM outlets throughout the nation.
