Sun Securities and Pokhara University Team Up to Boost Financial Literacy

Sun Securities Pvt. Ltd. (Broker No. 64) and Pokhara University's Study Group for Banking and Insurance Pokhara have signed an agreement for a financial literacy program.

The agreement, signed on Wednesday, 16th Falgun, 2080, entails Sun Securities organizing free training, workshops, and seminars on stock market-related topics throughout the year for students in the School of Business Faculty of Pokhara University.

The training covers basic and technical analysis and investment in the primary and secondary securities markets. Sun Securities will provide training to students, faculty, and staff, offering demat accounts, mero share, and opening broker trading accounts free of charge.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the Dean of Pokhara University Faculty of Management Studies, Daya Raj Dhakal, and Swastika Chhetri, president of the Study Group. Alongside the agreement, Sun Securities conducted a one-day financial literacy and share awareness program for BBA and BBA-BI students, with technical support from Sun Securities and participation from 70 students and teachers.

The training covered the current state of the stock market, risks, and methods of investing. The program was signed by Krishna Giri, Executive Chairman of Sun Securities, and witnessed by Dr. Daya Raj Dhakal.
