Sun Nepal Life Insurance Honored with ICAN Merit Award for Financial Transparency

Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has been awarded the Certificate of Merit under the National Best Presented Annual Report Award 2025 presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal in recognition of excellence in financial reporting and corporate governance. The award was presented during a special ceremony held at Hotel Yak and Yeti.

The recognition was granted based on the company’s excellent presentation of its annual financial report for fiscal year 2081/82, financial transparency, effective compliance with accounting standards, and strong commitment to institutional governance.

Acting CEO Kabi Phuyal said the achievement is a matter of pride for the entire Sun Nepal Life family and noted that the award will further motivate the company to strengthen transparency, governance, and service excellence. He also thanked customers, shareholders, employees, regulators, and stakeholders for their continued trust and support.

Currently, the company provides life insurance services through 150 branch and sub-branch offices nationwide and has pledged to continue contributing to social responsibility programs in areas such as education, health, and risk management.
