Students Learn Real-World Math Through Mock Cricket Auction by Embark UnMath and Premier School

Embark UnMath, in collaboration with Premier International IB Continuum School, organized a creative math learning session on November 21, where students participated in a live mock cricket auction inspired by NPL Season 2. Sixty students, teachers, and guest Bipin Acharya from Chitwan Rhinos explored how math drives real-world sports decisions, using statistics, budgeting, probability, and strategy to build balanced teams.

Co-founder Divesh Bathija highlighted that mathematics is essential for team composition and decision-making. Students shared that the session improved their skills in risk-taking, investment, planning, and critical thinking while experiencing the excitement of an auction atmosphere.
