Standard Chartered Bank Nepal CEO, Mundul retires

KATHMANDU, May 4:
Sujit Mundul retired from the position of chief executive officer with effect from May 1 after over 38 years with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). He spent his last eight years as the CEO of SCB Nepal. Anurag Mishra, head of Wholesale Banking has assumed the responsibility of the acting CEO until further announcement. Mishra has been with Standard Chartered Bank for the last 15 years and like Mundul, had been assigned from the Group to Standard Chartered Bank Nepal.
