Standard Chartered Bank Nepal and Kumari Bank Adjust Interest Rates Effective From Poush 01

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) and Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) have disclosed adjustments to their interest rate structures. The reduction in rates will be effective Poush 01.

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited has revised its interest rates for Fixed Deposits (FD) for the month of Poush. The new rates stand at 8.56% for Individual FD while for Institutional FD the rates remained unchanged. This marks a reduction from the previous month's rates of 8.97% for Individual FD, reflecting a decrease of 0.41%.

Similarly, Kumari Bank Limited has also announced adjustments to its Fixed Deposit interest rates. The revised rates are 7.31% for Institutional FD and 9.31% for Individual FD. This reflects a reduction from the earlier rates of 7.61% for Institutional FD and 9.61% for Individual FD, indicating a decrease of 0.30%.
