Standard Chartered Bank makes change

KATHMANDU, MAY 24:
Gorakh Rana has been appointed as head of wholesale banking for Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL). Prior to the new role, Rana was senior manager credit with the bank. In more than 18 years of experience in the bank — Rana started his career in 1994 — he worked under Wholesale Banking since 1996 and was in the Customer Relationship Management role, and looked after Large Local Corporate including the Group Special Asset Management cell of the bank. Rana holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Standard Chartered Group holds 75 per cent and the public holds 25 per cent in SCBNL.
