StanChart holds AGM

KATHMANDU,DEC 13: 

The 25th AGM of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal chaired by chairman of the bank Sunil Kaushal on Monday approved 50 per cent dividend of for the last fiscal year. It also elected Amrita Kumari Thapa as a public director to represent the public in the bank for the next four years. "The bank has been continuously delivering on its promises year on year," Kaushal said, adding that the bank is better equipped and are in a better position to deal with the emerging challenges. Standard Chartered Group holds 75 per cent and Nepalis hold 25 per cent shares in the bank.
