Six cooperatives scraped in Kavre

BANEPA, FEB 26:

The Division Cooperatives Office, Kavre, has dissolved six cooperatives in Kavre, to be effective from today.

According to Chief at the Division Cooperatives Office, Kavre, Hari Paudel, the cooperatives were dissolved as they failed to hold their annual general meetings, submit monthly progress reports and have their annual audits done.

The scraped cooperatives are the Bagmati Coopratives at Banepa-5, Sagarmatha Savings and Credit Cooperatives at Banepa-8 and Ashma Cooperatives at Dhulikhel-6.

Similarly, Indradevi Dairy Cooperatives, Bhumidanda-9, the Bhumidanda Dairy Cooperatives, Bhumidanda-1 and Ratamate Dairy Cooperatives, Panauti-11have been scrapped, according to the Division Cooperatives Office, Kavre.

Paudel told that the decision was taken after evaluation and supervision of the cooperatives. The Office so far has annulled 19 cooperatives in Kavre.
