Sindhu Bikas Bank reports 60% decline in net profit due to rise in loan loss provision; Annualized EPS down to Rs 4.17

Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited (SINDU) has registered 60.84% decrease in net profit until the second quarter of the fiscal year 2076/77. Its net profit has decreased to Rs 1.04 crore in the second quarter from Rs 2.65 crore in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.

According to the unaudited financial report published by the development bank, its net interest income has increased to Rs 6.48 crore in Q1 as compared to Rs 6.05 crore in the corresponding quarter.

It’s paid-up capital remains at Rs 50 crore with Rs 4.10 crore in its reserve.

Deposits collection reached Rs 3.05 arba in Q2 with the increment from Rs 2 arba of corresponding last year quarter and floated loans of Rs 2 arba.

Its non-performing loan has decreased to 1.58% in Q2 from 1.72% in the Q2 of the previous year's report.

Its annualized earning per share (EPS) stands at Rs 4.17, the Net worth per share at Rs 122.31 and P/ E ratio at 30.72 times.
