Nepal Telecom and the Department of Postal Services have teamed up to deliver services directly to customers' homes. Starting from July 17, 2026 (Shrawan 1, 2083 in the Nepali calendar), people can choose to have their Nepal Telecom SIM cards, letters, documents, and various equipment spare parts delivered straight to their doorstep using the national postal network.

An agreement for this new partnership was signed today by Reena Dangol, the Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecom, and Manmaya Bhattarai Pangeni, the Director General of the Department of Postal Services. During the signing, Nepal Telecom highlighted that this move is part of their ongoing effort to make services more accessible so customers do not always have to visit their physical offices.

The Postal Services Department shared that this initiative aligns perfectly with the government's goal of bringing public services directly to people's homes. Leaders from both government-owned organizations expressed strong confidence that combining Nepal Telecom's telecommunication services with the post office's nationwide network will make deliveries highly efficient, safe, and reliable for everyone across the country.
