Siddhartha Bank makes contribution to prevent vision loss; partners with Nepal Eye Hospital to conduct surgery on 178 cataract patients at Sarlahi

Siddhartha Bank, with a technical support from Nepal Eye Hospital of Tripureshor, Kathmandu, has organized a six day eye surgery camps at two Terai local units of Sarlahi. The bank has provided Rs 4.67 lakh in order to perform the cataract surgery as well as for the eye camp in those localities.

The bank organized an eye camp from Poush 22 to 25 at Shreenagar of Sarlahi and from Poush 27 to 29 at Malangwa of Sarlahi where all-together 1241 individuals receive free eye check ups with surgery performed on 178 cataract patients.

The support amount for the surgery and eye camp was handed amid a program by chairman of the bank Mr. Manoj Kumar Kedia to CEO of the hospital Mr. Daman Bahadur Ghale.

The bank currently has 180 branches, 101 branchless banking units, 4 extension counters, 200 ATM terminals, and more than 1600 POS machines under its network.
