Siddartha Insurance, Nepal SBI latest to register in CDSC

Siddartha Insurance Limited and Nepal SBI Limited are the two latest companies to register in Central Depository System and Clearing Limited (CDSC). With that, the companies registered with the CDSC has now reached nine.

The CDSC has agreed to register 10,00,000 unit shares of Siddartha Insurance Limited and Nepal SBI’s 2,09,22,107 unit shares, 6 percent debenture (2070) and 4,00,000 unit shares, 12.5% debenture (2070).

Registration of shares with CDSC simplifies online transactions of shares.

The two companies had filed an application at the CDSC dematerialization, or conversion of shares into electronic form. The companies had been asked by the CDSC to put in place the necessary setup comprising of required hardware, software and other office logistics, in line with the CDSC rules.
