Sharma assumes office as IRD chief
KATHMANDU, Sept 10 :
Chudamani Sharma, who was recently transferred to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) from the Department of Money Laundering Investigation, has assumed his new responsibility as director general (DG) at IRD.
Assuming office on Wednesday amid a ceremony held at IRD, he also directed staffers at the department to encourage team work. He also urged officials to utilize their skills, knowledge and capacity for bringing about reforms in the department.
