Stock Brokers’ Association Nepal has welcomed the recent federal budget presented by Finance Minister Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada for the fiscal year 2076-77.

The new provisions like making the online stock trading more secure, effective trading of government bonds through online trading system, calculating CGT using Weighted Average rule, opening secondary market for the investment from NRNs, reduction of CGT for individual investors from earlier 7.5% to 5 %, PAN verification as per the earlier decision from SEBOn, have all been viewed very optimistically by the broker firms’ association.
