Shangrila Development Bank Conducts Free Eye Camps in Darchula Under CSR Initiative

Shangrila Development Bank Limited has conducted free eye screening and treatment camps in Darchula under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

The camps were held at District Hospital Khalanga and Duhu Rural Municipality, where a total of more than 700 people received free eye check-ups, consultations, medicines, and eyeglasses. The services were provided by a medical team from Geta Eye Hospital, Dhangadhi.

Among the participants, patients diagnosed with cataract will receive free surgical treatment arranged by the bank. The initiative aimed to improve access to basic eye healthcare services for local communities.

The bank stated that the programme reflects its commitment to social responsibility while continuing to expand its nationwide services through 109 branches and 30 ATMs, with a focus on good governance, risk management, and improved customer service.
