Shangri-la Development Bank Hosts Nationwide Quiz to Boost Employee Skills

Shangrila Development Bank Limited (SADBL) hosted a quiz competition titled "Shangri-la Quiz" aimed at enhancing the skills of its branch employees.

The quiz, which began on Magh 26, 2080, at the branch level, concluded on Baishakh 19, 2081, with the Country Round competition. Initially, 464 employees participated at the branch level, and 187 progressed to the cluster level. Eventually, 40 contestants competed in the final Country Round.

The event was well-attended, with over 350 bank employees, including high-level executives and managers, supporting the contestants. Winners included Mahesh Rawal and Hemant BC. from the management team, and runners-up were Niraj Kunwar and Ganesh Singh Thagunna. Chetan Bhattarai and Sanju Kumari Shrestha, as well as Love Dev Pathak and Arun Blon, also won in their respective categories.

The top four winners were awarded Rs. 60,000 each, and the four runners-up received Rs. 40,000 each. The CEO, Mr. Suyog Shrestha, expressed pride in the competition, noting it as a pioneering initiative among development banks to foster a culture of learning among employees.
