Senior Political Leaders File Nominations for House of Representatives Election March 5

Senior political leaders have filed their candidacies for the upcoming March 5 House of Representatives election from various constituencies across the country.

President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has filed his candidacy Chitwan-2 for the upcoming HoR election.

Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has filed his candidacy from Sarlahi-4 through an authorized representative, shifting from Kathmandu-4.

Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Chairperson and former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav has registered his nomination from Saptari-3 on Tuesday.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, leader of the Nepali Communist Party has filed his candidacy from Sarlahi-3.

Former Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire has filed his candidacy from Jhapa-2 on a CPN-UML ticket. Alongside former Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar, who is contesting from the same constituency representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has registered his nomination from Jhapa-3, where he was previously elected.
