Seed Energy Limited Announces 4th AGM for Poush 18; Cash Dividend Proposal on Agenda

Seed Energy Limited has scheduled its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 18th Poush, 2082, to be held at the company’s registered office in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. The meeting will begin at 11 AM.

According to the notice, shareholders will review and endorse the annual report of FY 2081/82, along with the audited financial statements, profit and loss account, cash flow statement, and accompanying schedules for the period ending Ashadh 2082. The AGM will also consider the approval of decisions taken by the Board during the review year and appoint an auditor for FY 2082/83.

A key agenda item includes the Board’s recommendation to distribute a 3.1579% cash dividend (including tax) from distributable profits of FY 2081/82. Based on the current paid-up capital of Rs. 99.01 crore, the proposed payout amounts to Rs. 3,12,67,946.85.

Under special business, the company will discuss matters related to the continuation of its public issuance plan and other miscellaneous proposals.

Seed Energy Limited has applied to the regulator to issue 2,475,375 shares, expected to raise Rs. 24.75 crore. The application was filed on 4th Chaitra, 2080. The company currently holds a BB-issuer rating from ICRA Nepal, signaling moderate credit risk.
